  27. Thank you Rebecca, What a wonderful quote from someone who had such a difficult life. So good to know that he understood and felt such truth and beauty in spite of his pain.. and could even see the glory of a chair !
    (I can remember standing in front of it at the National Gallery in London when I was ten, and being blown away by the colour and the brightness of life in it.)

    1. I often think of Vincent’s brother, Theo. How he recognized his bother’s genius and tried always to be there for him. It reminds me of the quote from J.R.R. Tolkien – an exchange between Frodo and Samwise. There are some people who have a more difficult road.

We are trying to bury ourselves out of a snowstorm! 🙂 We also found out our honeybees didn’t make it through the winter so I have been harvesting the honey we had left for them. This is our second day of sunshine after a long spell of rain which made me wonder if the animals were going to start looking for Noah’s Ark! The earth is waking up and I’m doing my spring dance!!!
