My first post was a quote from Anaïs Nin. My lifelong friend, Ruth, sent an email today entitled – 2011 Inspiration – which offered another perceptive thought from the journals of Anaïs Nin. “Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage.” With a little research, I was able to find the source: The Diary of Anais Nin, volume 3, 1939-1944. I especially appreciated Ruth’s observation – “it reminds me to err on the side of courage!!”
